CPA MARKETING WITH PINTEREST

02/11/2020

Pinterest is the best social media network for Affiliate marketing. Pinterest pins don't have boundaries and they can be shown to all Pinterest users without paid ads if only the user searches for your pin keywords. The large exposure of pins is only one part why it is the best social media network for affiliate marketing, the second one is that studies have shown that 50% of Pinterest users are buyers. People go to Pinterest before they are ready to buy a product to look for other ideas.

I use Pinterest in two ways:-

  • Pin --> Blog article --> Affiliate offer
  • Pin --> Landing page/Quiz page --> CPA offer

If you have a blog that you use for affiliate marketing, then Pinterest is the best free tool you can use. Not only you will introduce the affiliate offer you are selling with your blog, but also you will drive traffic to your site which will rank your site higher in search results.

Another way I use Pinterest is to directly connect the affiliate offer. This way drives the Pinterest user to a landing page which will make the user interact with the content and set the mood of completing offers and then once they are done with the landing page they will be sent to the CPA offer page.

HOW TO GET STARTED ON PINTEREST?

  1. Choose a niche you're going to bee in. Niches that work well on Pinterest are travel, money-making opportunities, health & workouts.
  2. Set up your profile. Put a relevant image as your profile picture. Write your profile name including multiple keywords, so it will be easier for people to find you.
  3. Create 10-15 boards relevant to your niche.

EVERYDAY ACTIVITIES ON PINTEREST

  1. On the created boards you should Pin 8-10 pins every day from other accounts.
  2. Write in the search bar relevant keywords to your niche to find accounts similar to yours. For Pinterest to show you similar accounts, when you have written the keywords, go down and click on " All accounts named "..." ". Find accounts that display their following and go and follow those same people. You will follow them until you can't follow them anymore. After about half an hour you will be able to follow people again. Do this as many times a day as you can.
  3. Create pins yourself that you are going to use to attach to your offers. I create 1 pin a day, so I don't run out of pins to create and it doesn't get spammed with too much of with the same pins, because I don't have blog posts being created every day or I don't have that many offers to attach.

PIN CREATION

  • Pin Image: Create all my pins on a website called Canva, this is a free tool for creating any kinda design. Choose the poster canvas when creating with Canva. Pins that are vertical work better and take more space on the screen. For inspirations for the pins design look at other people's pins that are in your niche. Include text in the image describing where the pin leads. Make the text clickbaity.
  • Pin Title: In the pin title, I usually write the same text I write on the pin image.
  • Pin Description: In the pin description, I add the title and I describe a little more what they will get, some benefits and where they will land when they click on the link. It's important to add at least 20 hashtags in your description. A free tool I use to generate hashtags for my pins is All Hashtag.

REACHED 100 FOLLOWERS

Once you have reached 100 followers, you will start to join group boards. A free tool I use to find group boards is PINGROUPIE. Once you join a group board, all the followers the group has become also yours. Think of Pinterest as a search engine like google. People come here to find products and ideas, and you need to provide them.
