They are good for beginners because the adds perspective is very simple, there are a lot of resources for promoting sweepstakes, the main promotion source is Facebook and Instagram. Overall sweepstakes and surveys are more simple than other categories.

Comparing Sweepstakes and surveys

When I started promoting CPA offers I was doing only sweepstakes. That is because Facebook is very harsh against promoting money earning opportunities as survey jobs that pay you money for completing surveys. If you will pursue promoting survey offers you will probably get your advertising account banned very fast. If you can deal with accounts being banned all the time, then you can go ahead and promote survey offers, but otherwise, Facebook is more supportive of sweepstake offers.
